Working in a cooperative, feeding group, six (yes, six) humpback whales surface among seabirds. A few moments later in the same sequence, five of the humbacks continue the group feeding.

Five humpback whales, coming towards the camera, reveal their upper palates as they surface feeding together. A few moments later in the same sequence, the large lower jaw of one is now very evident.

Two feeding humpback whales, one vertical with throat exposed, the other on its side, presumably both getting a mouthful of sea water and baitfish. Three lunge feeding humpbacks, expoding through the surface in pursuit of their prey, schooling sand eels.
